Dog Walking

Do you have to work long hours? Are you ill or just don’t have the energy to keep up with your dog's walks?  Do you have an elderly dog or a puppy that can’t hold it until you return home? My dog walking services provide potty breaks, exercise, and playtime so you don’t need to rush home on your lunch break or impose on family or friends.  I schedule dog walks around you and the needs of your dog(s).  This service is also great for seniors who have a difficult time walking their dogs.

Rate: $22 and up for 30-minute visits, including about a 20-minute walk and ensuring that your pet(s) have enough water, giving them treats and attention.  

 

Rate: $38 and up for 60-minute visits/walks

Dog Park Visits or Hikes

​

Would you like your dog(s) to get more exercise and/or socialization with other dogs, but you don’t have the time or energy to take them to the dog park?  I’m happy to take them for you. Dog parks I travel to include Fletcher Park, Mills River Dog Park.  I’ll spend time with your dog(s) at the dog park, ensuring they get exercise and have fun (while keeping them hydrated).

 

Dog Park Rate:  $38 an hour plus $5 for each additional dog and 57.5 cents per mile based on the 2020 federal standard mileage rate (mileage is from your home to the dog park and back).

Do your dogs love getting out in the woods and hiking, but you don’t have the time to take them, or you have an illness or injury that prevents you from hiking?  I’m glad to take them on a hike.

Hiking Rate: $38 per hour for one dog plus 57.5 cents per mile, plus $5 for each additional dog.
